Sizing guide
How to choose the correct sleeving diameter
The right diameter is large enough to install cleanly, small enough to grip the bundle, and realistic for connectors, bends and future cable changes.
- 1
Measure the maximum outside diameter of the cable, hose or bundle.
- 2
Include connectors if the sleeving is installed after assembly.
- 3
Check the minimum and maximum expansion range.
- 4
Avoid using expandable sleeving constantly at its maximum expansion.
- 5
Leave margin for bends, movement and future cable changes.
- 6
For exact selection, request a sample before production orders.
Measure the widest point
Choose a sleeve range that works comfortably around the real bundle diameter.
A practical rule
Choose a sleeve that sits comfortably around the working bundle diameter, not one that reaches that diameter only at maximum expansion.
